Lace and Chambray

This weekend was good but busy. As I mentioned in my last post, I saw David Sedaris on Friday night! He was incredibly funny. I mean, obviously his books are hilarious - but I can't believe how much funnier it is just to hear and see him reading. It makes me want to buy one of his audiobooks. If you are a fan of his and you ever get the chance to see him I highly recommend it! The event was a little pricey, but totally worth it. And if you aren't a fan of his yet then you need to go out and buy yourself one of his books! I'd recommend Naked, I've read most if his books and it's my favorite so far.

Lace and Chambray

Lace top, belt - thrifted; Skirt - Ross; Shoes - Forever 21

Saturday and Sunday I spent with my mom shopping and lunching and cooking and all sorts of fun stuff. I was searching for some spring/summer shoes (I don't own ANY wedge sandals?!). I finally found one pair, which I'm sure you'll see soon. I'm still dying to get my hands on these:

I hope they make their way to my local Target soon!

Alright, back to finishing up Sunday night chores - homework, cleaning, and getting ready to start my new job tomorrow!

Love the cream and chambray together and the brown accessories set it off perfectly! And your hair looks so shiny and cute, yay!

The lace and chambray combo is so very sweet and looks like you're transitioning nicely from spring to summer. :) And those yellow wedges look DARLING, if you do get your hands on them, can't wait to see 'em!

That outfit is so adorable. I'm jealous & I want it. I'm also jealous you got to see David Sedaris. You should listen to some of his spots on This American Life. I definitely want to buy his audio books after hearing him on This American Life.

I love that top. What's even better is that you thrifted it! I'm jealous, the thrift stores in gainesville kinda suck.

What's your new job? When Dan and I moved in together several years ago, we had to drive across country to our new home. My sister and I drove my car and we listened to David Sedaris audiobooks the whole way. It was fantastic.

You look so summer ready, just perfect.

I love David Sedaris, too. I totally know what you mean about his personal delivery as opposed to just reading his books. I've always liked listening to his books on cd when taking long car rides.

Oh goodness, I'm so jealous you saw him in the flesh! I'm glad it was fun :) Those shoes are heavenly. They do not have them at a Target near me, so I contend that they are imaginary.

I am also a fan of David Sedaris. I love hearing authros read there own work. All the pauses and nuances are correct, and everything comes out just as it was intended. I'm a little (lot) jealous.
