Happy Birthday to my Blog!

Well, my blog is one year old today! I don't have much to say as I really didn't blog the whole year...but thanks to everyone who takes the time to visit, comment, etc. I am so glad I started blogging because of the wonderful connections I've made with so many genuine, smart, funny girls who share my interests. This year, I learned that life is too busy for blogging to be my number one priority and probably always will be. I learned that I don't want to focus on whether or not my blog is "successful" but rather on making connections with people through blogging and sharing my life and personal style (whenever it's convenient for me). I'm happy with what my blog has become and where it is now, and I look forward to another year of blogging and getting to know all of you better!

Black is usually my go-to when I can't decide what to wear or nothing else looks right. I got this top on super-sale at Wet Seal for $3, along with a few other things...including $1 floral leggings which I'm super excited about. You will definitely be seeing them soon.

I've been admiring Maria's adorable little vintage Coach bag for a while - I'd even considered buying one on ebay. But then I found this one while thrfiting! Whee!

Thank you guys for all your support, comments, and congratulating. I feel really guilty about neglecting all your blogs because I'm so busy with end of the semester school stuff and starting a new job, but I promise I'll catch up soon! You guys are awesome.

Sorry for my absence lately. I've been overwhelmed with gloomy weather, spring break busy-ness and loads of schoolwork...and I'm still pretty overwhelmed. I'm in the process of switching schools, switching jobs, etc. So my to-do list is a mile long right now. But I wanted to take a moment to say thank you SO much to all my new (and old!) followers! I've just reached over 100 followers and I promise a giveaway soon to celebrate.

I may have a couple more bits of exciting news for you soon, so stay tuned!

And, of course, I promise outfits posts and a return to my usual, more frequent updating very soon.
