I bought a romper.

Hi, I'm Jessica. You may or may not remember me, but I blog here sometimes. I'm not going to lie again and tell you that I'll be back to posting regularly soon because my next day off work isn't until a week from now and I wear a uniform to work so...yeah.

Anyways, I've been wanting a romper for a while and finally got one. Not the must exciting one...just basic black. But it was only $5 and the fabric is nice and breathable for summer. I definitely want more rompers though. Maybe a floral one. Definitely a print of some sort. Chambray would be cute too.

Necklace - Forever 21; Sunglasses, romper - Target; Sandals - Kate Ronson

I do love these new shoes. I've been buying quite a lot of shoes lately and I feel like I finally have a nice little sandal collection for summer. I went shopping recently and I wish I had time to wear/show you all my fun new things. In due time.

Oh, and a long overdue thanks to Kristin of Leproust Vintage for featuring my look in this post!

Love your shoes, too. I like how you've paired them with the romper and kept it simple with your accessories.

Adorable romper! You pull off the look so well! Also I'm really liking the socks and sandals look... I'm itching to purchase a cutesy frilly pair and match them with a more industrial sandal...

This romper is perfection and exactly what I want! Too bad we don't have Targets in Canada (well, at least not where I live!).

You styled it perfectly! Love it.

Oh I love how it's so French and chic-looking! I always have such a hard time with rompers, but in navy, it gives me a whole new perspective! I love those shoes, too!

Your beginning paragraph sounded like me this time last year. My daily outfit consisted of tan or white shorts, a shapeless polyester blue polo and the stinkiest shoes on the planet. I was so excited when I could actually dress in real clothes when I quit...... glad to see I kept that up.

I like the romper but I like even more the whole outfit together... everything just works seamlessly, without anything matching. The simple romper, the understated yet excellent shoes, and the little necklace. Perfect.
