Today is pretty awesome.

Today has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster. Good news, bad news, good news. But mostly good news. I'll spare you the whining and just talk about the good news. You probably saw in my last post that I'm Teen Vogue's Best Dressed reader of the day! And I also got a job today!

Shirt - Banana Republic; Skirt - Modcloth; Belt - Urban Outfitters; Shoes - Forever 21

And, as you can see, I got to wear my new Modcloth skirt today! This was my first Modcloth purchase and I absolutely love it. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. I love Modcloth's clothing and I love that they support bloggers. Speaking of which, I'm on their blog! I'm wearing the outfit from this post. Check it out:

Alright, now I have to go do my taxes. (Bad news.)

P.S. Where do you guys host your photos? Do you upload directly from blogger? Sometimes I feel like sites that do that load really slowly...but maybe not? I keep almost exceeding my Photobucket bandwidth and I'm looking for a free alternative.

I upload to a flickr account (separate from the one I use for my main photography) because I know they will not be deleted from the servers there (unlike tinypic, which I used for a while)

also, flickr gives you sizing options, so you can make the image hi res or smaller if you'd like without resizing in photoshop.

love the skirt and shoes and congrats on being on teen vogue + the new job :)

I use googles online photo hosting service, picasaweb.google.com
No complaints so far!

I use photobucket, it's worth paying the yearly or monthly pro fee. My account exceeded the bandwidth last month, because I got so many views, it's impossible to not have a pro account, so I got it. That's my suggestion :) Don't use blogger upload, it compresses the photos a lot and it's very obvious (to me).

Congrats on teen vogue and modcloth and new job. Sorry about taxes, boooooo. Good luck with that :)

Congratulations on your job!!

Your new ModCloth skirt is so lovely. They are a really amazing company and have been supportive of my little blog since the beginning.

I use flickr, but had to buy the pro account since I use it so much, but I do love it.

Hope the good makes up for the bad! You look fabulous in this outfit, I had to bookmark it! And your hair looks different, really cute :)
I use Flickr, but I went ahead and paid for a pro account because I was quickly going to exceed the limit. If you just pay it, then you forget about for the next several months, but either way it's worth it!

You have such a gorgeous blog! And I just got a job too, after much hunting and lots of rejections. Its such a relief!

I host my images at flickr, but you can only upload so many before you have to pay to get unlimited uploads. Its only $24.99 for a year though, so not too much.

& yay on getting a job!

Yay for you getting a job! and for your features! That skirt is super cute and totally versatile.

I use flickr because it has all types of size options, and because the quality always comes out great. I shoot in the highest quality setting on my camera, and other host sites compress the pictures too much. It's free to a certain extent, but a pro account is only $25 a year!

your short hair is so making me want to cut mine short again. its adorable.

I absolutely adore this outfit! So, so pretty! Love the skirt! Also, I had no idea that uploading through blogger would make it load slowly - have no idea if mine does? I always just upload through blogger, because I see blogs all the time that have "exceeded bandwith" broken images all over them. Maybe I should look at my other options!
